Repurpose Blog Content & Save Time In Your Business
Filed In:
I’ve been told by many business owners that they don’t have time for a blog – but always have amazing informative posts on Instagram & other social media platforms! The truth is, content only lasts days on some platforms – why waste so many hours focusing on ideas for an Instagram post that will only get pushed for a bit, when you can focus on a blog post that will grow forever on search engines? It’s time you repurpose blog content, it will be so worth it.
Does Blogging Take Too Much Time?
Almost half of my website visitors are due to my growing blog posts All it took was a blog post on a good topic/question from years ago, and now I have thousands of websites visitor just from ONE post that’s now working for me, without having to lift a finger.
Repurposing your blog content into social media posts can save you SO much time and effort. It will also allowing you to reach a wider audience and engage with your followers in a more meaningful way. So instead of thinking of content for Instagram, think of a blog post topic! From there, you can create social media & newsletter content relating to that post. This will save you the headache of trying to think of ideas for all of the different platforms you use.
Ways to Repurpose Blog Content
ONE POST, THREE WAYS.
Don’t think of a topic for social media. Instead, write a blog post and re-purpose it to social media to save time & expand your reach!
Blog Post – Write a blog post focused on a specific topic or keyword that will get you noticed by potential leads through search engines. Think of questions your ideal client would be searching for!
Social Media – Create social media content based on that one blog post & re-purpose on platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Linked In and Facebook.
Newsletter – Write your weekly/monthly newsletter using that blog post, or to entice people to read the full post.
I Always Repurpose Blog Content!
Take this blog post for example called 5 Ways to Update Your Website for The New Year. You can see my repurposed version on Instagram below. I was able to expand my reach from the same exact content, with a slightly changed name as a blog post gets shown over the years (placing “New Year” makes more sense than 2023) whereas Instagram content doesn’t last as long.
Focus on Blogging, It’s Worth It.
Blogging is essential for online growth. It improves your search engine optimization, increases website traffic, builds credibility, and converts traffic into leads. You can still receive traffic years after it’s been posted. Write about topics that will attract your target audience, and you’re set! The little effort you put into writing that post can turn into hundreds of thousands of leads. When you compare the growth of content on other platforms like Instagram – blogging is worth your time.
