I’m always trying to have fun & engaging elements on my website to create a memorable experience with my website visitors, and ways to grow my email list. I wanted to offer something different than the typical freebies and worksheets that every business owner provides. I’ve tried multiple quiz builders, but always went back to using Interact.

Think of a quiz that would solve your ideal audience’s problem or something you often get asked about. For me, many of my customers were confused about which website template was best for their type of business. My quiz now allows me to guide them in the right direction to purchase a template that’s perfect for them! You start by choosing if you’d prefer to start from scratch or with one of Interact’s templates. They offer a large variety of templates to fit any business industry you are in, and example questions to inspire you when building your quiz.
First off, you can edit the colours, fonts & images to fit your branding! I love this option as I didn’t want it to look generic and plain. Their customization tools are very easy to use.
You can create different result pages depending on their chosen answers, which could include some fun details, introducing your offerings/yourself & a call to action. You can decide if you’d like users to view their results with multiple percentage results (as seen below) or with only one result. Here’s a small preview of a recent quiz results page I created for my past client!
You can add images to each response or plain text, whichever you prefer! They allow different settings if you’d like users to choose multiple answers or just one. You can input any questions and as many answers as you’d like, but I recommend up to 7 questions to keep the user from wanting to leave the quiz before completing it.
You can choose results from one answer and get creative with the results. Mapping the results are incredibly easy to do. You just click on the question and click on the answer it relates to.
The great thing with Interact is you can set up an opt-in form before they view their results! They work with pretty much every popular email marketing platform there is.
Please keep in mind that you can’t connect Flodesk at the moment without using Zapier or using a CSV file to manually input new subscribers. But I don’t mind! Flodesk is still a beta email marketing platform and isn’t typically shown on third party websites. That doesn’t not stop me from wanting to use Interact’s amazing quiz software!
This part is super easy! All you do is publish your quiz, click “Shared & Embed” and choose the option you prefer. Whether you’d like to include it as a pop-up, embed it on a page, use it as an announcement bar, or just a direct link to the quiz. If you decided to embed it on your website, you could add the code they provide anywhere on your website.
Curious about user results? You can see how people engage with your quiz. You can easily track your user’s experience, including quiz views, starts, completions, top results and leads.
When looking at my analytics in the past, some users would click out before viewing their results. Some are not interested in joining my email list, which is completely fine by me! You can choose to add a skip button or make it mandatory to subscribe before viewing the results. If you notice the conversion rate is low, I suggest offering a “Skip” for the opt-in form and reformulating your quiz where people are leaving. Try to keep it simple & a maximum of 7 questions, or else people will lose interest. You can also connect Google Analytics or Facebook Pixels to your quiz to track the conversions of the users.
Are you ready to provide a fun experience for your website visitors? Click here to get a 14-day free trial with Interact, which gives you ample time to test your quiz and see how the platform works. Quizzes are a fantastic marketing tool to engage with your customers in a fun, unique way.
