My Journey from Squarespace to Showit

If you’ve been apart of my entrepreneurial journey as a website designer, you’d remember my past love for Squarespace due to its simplicity and e-commerce features. However, Pinterest kept showcasing so many captivating sites that I was noticing, leading me to Showit. Squarespace would give me headache every time I would design, where something doesn’t fit within their blocks, or I’d have to use so much CSS coding to make the design look good on the mobile site. Showit fixed all of these issues! It’s so easy to use, fully customizable, and doesn’t involve any coding for basic features – making edits, building sections and rearranging content is super easy.

2. SEO Magic with Showit

My transition to Showit improved my SEO like I’ve never seen before. My impressions grew from 1.28K on Squarespace to a staggering 315k on Showit within a year of me switching platforms (with also a focus on good website design, blogging, etc). 2. Domain Transfer: If you’ve got a custom domain with Squarespace, you’ll need to transfer it to either a domain provider (I recommend GoDaddy) or point it to your new Showit site. While this might sound techy, Showit offer amazing launch support o help you through this process.
3. Recreate Your Design: With Showit’s impressive design capabilities, you’ll be recreating rather than directly importing your design.
