I have a folder for my own business & website, client projects, social media platforms and even random folders for recipes or wedding planning! Time Management – Time track your projects to see how much time it takes you to complete a task or project with their time tracking tool. This helps you know how much to charge, or how much to invoice a client if you are working at an hourly rate. You can set start/due dates by day or time and get notified for past due tasks.
Integrations – Syncs with Google Calendar, Google Drive, Slack, Dropbox, Figma (perfect for all designers out there), Calendly, Outlook, Zoom, and any other software you can possibly imagine!
Team Collaborations – ClickUp is AMAZING if you have team members. You can see who views, comments or edits tasks and you can see what each member is currently working on.
Connects Everywhere – I have Clickup installed on my computer, on my phone, as a Chrome extension and in my Gmail account!

My past clients always compliment me on how fast & easy my design process was for them. By organizing their projects using a template I’ve created, I’m able to duplicate all tasks for every new project as every website project is typically the same process!
When I start a new client project, I create a separate folder for them and have a recurring list already set and ready. All I do is create a start date and deadline for each task, which keeps me on top of every client project I have. ClickUp allows me to set urgent deadlines for tasks in order to hit that due date that I promised my client! This creates a positive client experience that leaves them happy.
An awesome feature I love is I’m able to share the folder with my client and they do not have to pay for an account. This allows them to see what I need from them and when I need it. It helps my client and I stay organized together during the whole design process.

They offer both free & paid plans! Honestly, the free plan offers so many features that you can’t find anywhere else. With their forever free plan, ClickUp allows unlimited tasks, unlimited users and 100MB of storage. This is usually enough for any small business owner!
If you’re looking to have unlimited lists and other awesome features, their paid plan starts at only $5/month (USD). Coming from Asana, who charges $25/month for the same exact features. Trust me, it’s so worth the small price you pay! I use it every day and couldn’t recommend it enough.
Asana was my preferred project management tool in the past. However, it becomes expensive as you grow your business and team. I know some entrepreneurs who pay $100+/month for their plan, and I find it crazy!
