Especially if you have no existing brand identity or have an outdated one that may impact your new website vision! Starting with brand design gives us the essential building blocks (your visual identity, brand personality, and core messaging) that make your website truly shine.
This foundation ensures every design choice on your website feels purposeful and aligned with your brand's vision. Once your brand is solid, we can also craft compelling website copy that tells your story and connects with your audience. Then, we bring it all together with a website design that perfectly showcases both your visual brand and strategic messaging. This thoughtful sequence helps avoid the common pitfall of retrofitting your brand to match your website later on, which often leads to disconnected visuals or messaging!
- Booking: Once you inquire, you'll hop on a discovery call with Danielle to chat about your specific needs and goals. From there, we'll craft a custom proposal just for you. Once you've confirmed the proposal, signed the agreement and submitted the first payment, you'll be officially booked into our calendar!
- Preparation: You'll fill out a detailed questionnaire so we can really understand your vision. If we're working on a website project, you'll also need to provide all of your content. As designers, we create the structure, layout, and functionality of your site, but we rely on you to provide the actual content for us to use. You'll need to provide your branding assets (if you're not booking brand design with us), your website copy (the text that explains your services, about section, etc.), and photos/videos. If you don't have professional imagery, we offer a stock photo sourcing add-on to find images that perfectly match your brand.
- Design Phase: For brand projects, we start with a creative direction and moodboard to set the vibe, then move into logo and full brand identity design. For website projects, we bring your brand to life with a custom design that's strategic and beautiful.
- Collaboration: This is where the collaboration really happens! Once the initial design is complete, you'll have a chance to share your feedback and request revisions during a few rounds. We work together to fine-tune everything until it feels just right.
- Testing & Final Launch: We handle all the final testing and tech setup to make sure everything runs smoothly, then it's time to launch!
